WHEN WILL I NOTICE RESULTS?
The most common areas to use HIFU are the face and neck. You can expect to notice your skin lifting and tightening with immediate effect, with ongoing results in the ensuing weeks.
Optimum results will be seen at 6-12 weeks*, leaving you feeling smoother, brighter and firmer.
This will continue to improve for up to six months following your treatment.
Results last for between two and three years.

HOW DOES HIFU WORK?
With HIFU, specific areas are targeted with high-intensity focused ultrasound technology.
Unlike lasers, the HIFU procedure targets directly into the deep structural tissues where the collagen lives.
When the cells in our skin reach a certain temperature, they experience cellular damage. This is actually beneficial because it stimulates them produce more collagen which provides structure for healthy looking skin!
The high-frequency ultrasound waves cause minimal damage to the skin’s upper layers and adjacent tissue because they’re focused on a specific tissue site below.
HIFU is not a good option for people with infections and open skin lesions at the treatment area, severe or cystic acne, as well as those who have metallic implants in their face.
*Results are best for patients over 30 with moderate skin laxity (skin firmness/structure).

This depends on how effective the results are, so the best answer is to say as many until you have visible results that you are happy with. We say 6-12 weeks is when you see the best results, so at least 3 treatments is when you see good results.
