Semi-permanent makeup, or ‘micropigmentation’, is the secret to effortlessly achieving a polished and put-together look.

Our expert technicians use the latest techniques and high-quality pigments to enhance your natural features, ensuring you wake up each day looking your best.

Whether you desire perfectly shaped eyebrows, defined eyeliner, or plump lips, our semi permanent makeup treatment in Essex is the solution for you.

SEMI-PERMANENT EYEBROW ENHANCEMENT

Pretty Permanent Eyebrow Enhancement mimics the natural appearance of hair in a defined brow line.

For those who desire more fullness in the brow line but resent the time having to continually pencil in the brow line, this treatment is a total must! Pretty Permanent has the skill and expertise to ensure the illusion of the brow line being entirely natural.

We offer ombré eyebrows, powder eyebrows and hairstroke eyebrows as well as eyebrow lamination.

All pigments are mixed to create a totally unique match to your hair and skin type.

EYELASH ENHANCEMENT

Eyelash Enhancement Treatment boosts a subtle and natural look by mimicking dozens of tiny eyelashes with the micro-implantation of pigments in or along the lash line. This treatment creates the illusion of thick long healthy lashes. This is very popular for both men and women.

Additional shadowing of colour can be added for a soft natural liner in many shades mixed carefully to compliment your skin tone and enhance the colour of your eyes.
A bolder and more definitive effect can be achieved using a definitive black line for superb “wide-awake” eyes: a stunning look!

Eyelash Enhancement Treatment is fully approved by Ophthalmologists and is the perfect solution for contact wearers and those with allergies to conventional make up.

SEMI-PERMANENT “GLOSS AND GO LIPS”

GREAT FOR THOSE OF US WHO DO NOT WANT FILLERS!

Beautiful lips can be cosmetically achieved by rebalancing their shape and evenness to create the ultimate “fuller” look: alternatively, simply by enhancement. All colours are specifically mixed to suit your individual skin tone and to create the “look” you desire. “Gloss and Go” lips by Pretty Permanent are the latest “must have”.The procedure enhances the natural shape of the lips, resulting in a redefined and fuller natural look.

How Does It Work?

Before scheduling your semi-permanent makeup procedure, it is essential to undergo both a patch test and a consultation. This prerequisite must be fulfilled at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled treatment.

Additionally, we strongly recommend refraining from consuming coffee, aspirin, and alcohol for a full day before your appointment.

In the case of brow treatments, we suggest washing your hair on the morning of your appointment to ensure your brows remain as dry as possible following the procedure.

After the treatment, you will receive a specialised aftercare balm for application. We advise applying this balm twice daily until the treated area fully recovers. It is also recommended to cleanse the treated area with boiled or bottled water once daily for proper hygiene.

For your safety and optimal results, please avoid sunbeds, saunas, and swimming pools in the post-treatment period. Using makeup on the treated area during the healing phase is discouraged.

Anyone can enjoy these treatments. They are especially recommended for those of us who wear contact lenses or have allergies to conventional make up or have lost their eyelashes or eyebrows due to a medical condition.

There are some instances where you will have to be careful before undertaking treatment, these are:

  1. Skin Infections: Active skin infections, such as herpes, acne, or eczema, may increase the risk of complications during and after the procedure.
  2. Blood Disorders: Conditions that affect blood clotting, such as haemophilia, may pose a risk during Semi Permanent Makeup procedures.
  3. Allergies: Known allergies to the pigments or anaesthetics used in Semi Permanent Makeup can result in adverse reactions.
  4. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Typically, it’s advised to refrain from undergoing Semi Permanent Makeup procedures while pregnant or breastfeeding due to the potential uncertainties about their impact on the developing fetus or nursing infants.
  5. Autoimmune Disorders: Conditions like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis may affect the healing process and the stability of pigment retention.
  6. Scarring Issues: People with a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring may have an increased risk of developing raised or excessive scarring from Semi Permanent Makeup.
  7. Recent Cosmetic Procedures: Should you have undergone recent cosmetic treatments in the specific area of the intended Semi Permanent Makeup procedure, such as chemical peels or laser therapy, delaying the Semi Permanent Makeup until the skin has completely recovered might be necessary.
  8. Certain Medications: Taking blood-thinning medications such as anticoagulants can heighten the potential for bleeding and complications while undergoing the procedure. It’s advisable to seek guidance from your healthcare professional regarding potential adjustments to your medication regimen.
  9. Skin Conditions: Conditions like psoriasis or dermatitis may make it difficult for the pigments to be implanted evenly, and the results may be different than expected.

It’s crucial to thoroughly consult your practitioner to discuss your medical history and any existing conditions before scheduling a procedure.

Yes, your normal life and routine can be resumed immediately without any “downtime”.

Permanent make up is a revolutionary method of applying micro insertions of natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin.

Permanent make up lasts for several years. This technique is also sometimes called cosmetic tattooing, although the treatment technique is different from a tattoo and is never entirely permanent. This is due to the pure pigments that we use, which are specifically selected for their hypo-allergenic qualities inserted into the outer-layer of the skin.

How long it lasts depends on how fair or dark you are, how much sun exposure your skin receives over that time and your general lifestyle. For permanent makeup aftercare,we recommend a colour boost every 6 to 18 months to maintain your new “permanent make-up” look.

Keeping your “permanent makeup” colour looking fresh creates a dramatic anti-ageing effect. Without this refresher treatment, the colours will simply gradually fade over time.

This state of the art technique is medically approved and specifically designed to be completely safe.

To ensure your safety, choose your technician carefully, discuss any concerns or allergies, follow aftercare instructions diligently, and consult a medical professional if you have specific health concerns or conditions.

Yes, a patch test is always required plus a full consultation and the completion of a medical questionnaire prior to treatment.

Topical anaesthetics are used to minimise discomfort.

It’s typical to encounter minor side effects when undergoing Semi Permanent Makeup procedures. Among the most prevalent side effects, you can anticipate temporary swelling and redness, which typically resolve within 8 hours.

Specifically, following a lip blush treatment, you may experience tenderness when touching or brushing your teeth.

It’s common to develop a cold sore after this procedure, particularly if you have a history of cold sores.

To mitigate this risk, seeking guidance from a healthcare expert on using antiviral medication is advisable. Please consult with a medical professional before proceeding with the treatment.
