LEGISLATION IN UK USING LASERS IN AESTHETIC TREATMENTS
In order to legally use aesthetic lasers in the UK, one must first have their qualifications and certification. A practitioner can either hold an ITEC level 3 or 4 qualification along with manufacturer’s recommendations for safely using these devices.
In the UK, aesthetic professionals must have this qualification in order to safely operate IPL Lasers and ND YAG laser aesthetic treatments.
The industry requires appropriate qualifications to ensure that proper insurance can be obtained, and safety measures adhered.
