What is Dermarolling ?
Our dermaroller treatment in Essex, Southend-on-Sea, also known as skin rollers, micro-needle rollers, and dry needling, is a micro-needling treatment that effectively improves the appearance of skin imperfections.
It is ideal for acne scarring, skin tightening, decreasing the size of pores, or just overall evening of skin tone and texture.
It is a simple procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin, which encourages the production of new collagen, repairing the skin and, in turn, reduces the appearance of skin imperfections.

HOW DOES DERMAROLLING WORK?
Our highly experienced practitioners will use a medical-grade dermaroller which features small needles (approximately 0.1mm in width) which enter directly into the dermis of the skin.
The tiny punctures that the device will create in the skin repair rapidly, producing new collagen and new skin cells to repair and rejuvenate the skin. The collagen stimulation improves skin texture and significantly enhances the appearance of acne scars.
The procedure forces the skin into “repair mode” which results in firmer, plumper and smoother skin. The holes in the skin allow for better absorption of skincare products, allowing the products to enter deeper layers of the skin with ease.
The treatment time depends on the size of the area being treated; however, most treatments take an average of 45 minutes.
