Yes, all treatments are safe. We use FDA-approved products and follows strict safety protocols to ensure the best outcomes.

Lip Enhancement (Lip Fillers)

Lip fillers work by injecting hyaluronic acid-based fillers into the lips to add volume, shape, and definition. Hyaluronic acid naturally attracts moisture, plumping up the lips for a more youthful appearance. The results are immediate, and there is no downtime required.

While discomfort levels vary from person to person, we use a numbing cream before the treatment to minimise any pain. Most clients report minimal discomfort, and the procedure is quick, lasting around 30 minutes.

Lip filler results generally last between 6 to 12 months, depending on factors such as the type of filler used, lifestyle, and metabolism. Maintaining the results may require touch-up treatments over time.

The amount of lip filler needed depends on your desired outcome and natural lip structure. Typically, 1ml of filler is sufficient for subtle enhancement, while more may be required for a fuller look. During your free consultation, we will guide you based on your specific goals.

Before your lip filler treatment, avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or vitamin E for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. We recommend arriving with clean skin, free of any makeup or skincare products, to ensure the best results. We will assess your lips and discuss your desired outcome during the free consultation.

After your lip filler treatment, you can typically resume normal activities right away. However, you may experience some redness, pinprick marks, swelling, or bruising, particularly around the lips. Swelling might be more noticeable the day after the treatment.

For the first 24 hours:

  • Avoid wearing makeup, drinking alcohol, or engaging in intense exercise.
  • Try not to apply pressure to the treated area.

For the next two weeks:

  • Avoid sunbathing, sunbeds, or exposure to extreme heat or cold (such as saunas or ice), as they can prolong swelling and bruising.

Swelling may worsen within the first 24 hours but should improve within the first week. Cold packs can help reduce swelling. The filler may feel firmer or lumpy, and some asymmetry is normal during the settling process.

Bruising can appear after the treatment and may take up to 10 days to heal. Arnica can help reduce bruising. It’s best to avoid Ibuprofen and alcohol for 24-48 hours to minimise swelling and bruising.

Tenderness should gradually subside as the swelling goes down and bruising heals, typically over the next few weeks.

For the first 4 weeks:

  • Avoid dental work and any invasive skin or laser treatments in the treated area.

If you experience intense pain, discolouration, or a mottled appearance in the treated area, contact CHC Aesthetics right away so we can assist you with the next steps.

We advise avoiding direct sun exposure or tanning beds for at least 48 hours post-treatment. If you need to go outside, apply a high SPF sunscreen to protect your skin from UV damage while your lips heal.

You can fly after lip filler treatment; however, we recommend waiting 24 hours before flying to allow any swelling to subside. It’s important to stay hydrated and avoid any excessive pressure changes that may affect the healing process.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers use a gel-like substance, often hyaluronic acid, to restore lost volume and smooth out wrinkles. By injecting the filler into specific areas of the face, Dr. Tala can plump up hollows, reduce lines, and enhance features like the cheeks, lips, and jawline. The fillers add volume and structure while stimulating the skin’s collagen production.

Dermal filler results typically last between 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type of filler used and the area treated. Areas such as the lips may require more frequent touch-ups compared to the cheeks or jawline.

Results from dermal fillers are usually visible immediately after the treatment, but they will continue to settle and improve over the next few days to a week.

Typically, 1ml of dermal filler is recommended, though we also offer 2ml options. We will assess your needs during a full consultation and recommend the ideal amount for your desired results.

Before your dermal filler treatment, we recommend avoiding alcohol, blood-thinning medications, and harsh skincare products like Retinol or exfoliants for a few days. This will help reduce the risk of bruising and swelling. We’ll provide detailed guidance during your consultation.

After your dermal filler treatment, avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated areas for 24 hours. It’s also best to avoid alcohol, vigorous exercise, or sun exposure for the first 24-48 hours.

It’s recommended to avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or extreme heat (e.g., saunas) for 24 hours after your treatment to reduce the risk of swelling and bruising.

Most people are suitable for dermal fillers. However, you may not be a candidate if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain medical conditions. We will assess your suitability during your free consultation and answer any questions you may have.

Common side effects of dermal fillers include swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness at the injection sites. These effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few days. In rare cases, more serious side effects may occur, which we will cover during your free consultation.

Bespoke Anti-Wrinkle

Anti-wrinkle injections are a non-surgical treatment that involves injecting botulinum toxin into the skin to temporarily relax facial muscles, smooth out wrinkles, and provide a refreshed, youthful look

Anti-wrinkle injections work by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles and fine lines. The treatment targets specific areas, reducing muscle movement and smoothing out the skin for a more youthful appearance.

Common treatment areas include:

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines (between the eyebrows)
  • Crow’s feet (around the eyes)
  • Bunny lines (on the nose)
  • Lip lines
  • Chin wrinkles

Typically, the effects of anti-wrinkle injections last between 3 to 6 months. Maintenance treatments will help keep your results looking fresh.

Yes, many clients combine anti-wrinkle injections with dermal fillers in one session for a more comprehensive rejuvenation. Dr. Tala Khazim will advise on the best approach based on your needs.

Anti-wrinkle injections involve very fine needles, and most people find the treatment tolerable. Any discomfort is usually minimal and brief.

You may start noticing improvement within 3-5 days, but full results usually appear after 10-14 days. The muscles continue to relax and the wrinkles smooth out during this period.

Anti-wrinkle injections can be repeated every 3 to 6 months, depending on your results and treatment plan.

Profhilo® Treatment

Profhilo® is a highly concentrated hyaluronic acid treatment that helps to hydrate, tighten, and improve skin elasticity. It works by stimulating the skin’s natural collagen and elastin production to rejuvenate and restore a youthful appearance. It’s perfect for clients looking to treat sagging skin, especially on the face, neck, and hands.

Results from Profhilo® typically last 6 to 12 months. To maintain the effects, you may need touch-up treatments after the initial two sessions, spaced a month apart.

You should start noticing a difference around 3 weeks after your second treatment session in the initial treatment cycle.

Profhilo can be an effective treatment for you if you’ve noticed a decline in your skin’s firmness and quality, especially as you age and lose collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid after the age of 25. If you’re starting to see signs of aging but don’t yet feel ready for dermal fillers, Profhilo can help restore skin hydration and improve skin texture. It’s ideal for those looking to address skin laxity and restore a youthful appearance without the need for more invasive treatments.

Profhilo treatment involves two sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, where the product is injected just below the skin’s surface. Once injected, Profhilo quickly disperses beneath the skin to enhance hydration, with no need for massaging and no risk of lumps or nodules.

It spreads within a 2cm radius from the injection site, requiring only 10 injection points for facial treatments. After completing the initial two sessions, you’ll notice intense hydration, smoother, tighter skin, and a glowing complexion with reduced fine lines. To maintain results, courses can be repeated every six months.

Profhilo is primarily used on the face but can also be highly effective for rejuvenating other areas such as the neck, décolleté, arms, knees, and hands.

The neck, in particular, is becoming an increasingly popular area for treatment, as Profhilo helps reduce crepey skin and sagging, promoting a firmer appearance. It’s ideal for overall facial rejuvenation, hand rejuvenation, addressing facial sagging, improving neck skin, and tackling the crepey texture on the neck.

Profhilo is not a dermal filler, though both are hyaluronic acid-based gels. The key difference is in how they work. While dermal fillers replace deep subcutaneous fat and enhance bone structure, Profhilo works by permeating the skin to improve its quality and radiance. Profhilo does not alter facial contours or shape, nor does it directly target fine lines. Instead, it is designed to stimulate skin remodeling, enhancing skin texture and luminosity.

Anti-wrinkle injections can be repeated every 3 to 6 months, depending on your results and treatment plan.
