HOW DOES DERMAROLLING WORK?
Our highly experienced practitioners will use a medical-grade dermaroller which features small needles (approximately 0.1mm in width) which enter directly into the dermis of the skin.
The tiny punctures that the device will create in the skin repair rapidly, producing new collagen and new skin cells to repair and rejuvenate the skin. The collagen stimulation improves skin texture and significantly enhances the appearance of acne scars.
The procedure forces the skin into “repair mode” which results in firmer, plumper and smoother skin. The holes in the skin allow for better absorption of skincare products, allowing the products to enter deeper layers of the skin with ease.
The treatment time depends on the size of the area being treated; however, most treatments take an average of 45 minutes.
